Terms of Use

FPL Lad is an AI assistant for Fantasy Premier League managers. You chat with Alfie, who can look at a squad, suggest transfers, plan chips and run an optimiser over the coming gameweeks.

FPL Lad is an independent fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the Premier League or Fantasy Premier League. Club and competition names and kits belong to their owners and are used only to describe the game.

FPL Lad is in beta. Features may change, break or be removed, and we may limit or stop the service at any time.

You must be at least 16 years old. If you are under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission.

You can use FPL Lad as a guest or sign in with Google. You are responsible for what happens under your account and on your device.

Alfie's replies are generated by an AI model, and the optimiser works from predictions. Both can be wrong, out of date or incomplete: a predicted score is an estimate, injury news may have changed, and a recommended transfer may not work out.

• Check anything that matters in the official FPL game before you act on it.
• Your squad, transfers and chips are your own decisions. FPL Lad never makes changes to your FPL team.
• FPL Lad is for entertainment. Nothing in it is betting, gambling, financial or other professional advice, and it must not be relied on as such.

Messages and optimiser runs use credits. While FPL Lad is in beta, credits are free: you get some to start, and more may be added as described in the app.

• Credits have no cash value. They cannot be bought, sold, transferred or exchanged for money.
• We may change how many credits are given, what things cost in credits, or how the credit system works, at any time.
• If you use FPL Lad as a guest, your credits are tied to your browser. Clearing your cookies or switching device loses them.
• We may remove credits that were obtained by abuse, for example by creating multiple accounts or clearing cookies to collect free credits again.

You can earn credits by inviting friends with your invite link. A reward is earned only when a genuinely new person signs in for the first time through your link. Inviting yourself, using fake or duplicate accounts, or posting your link in a misleading way does not count, and we may withhold or reverse those rewards. There is a limit on the total you can earn, shown in the app. The invite program may change or end at any time.

Please do not:

• use FPL Lad for anything unlawful or to harm other people;
• try to break, overload or get around the limits of the service, including its credit system;
• scrape it, access it with automated tools, or resell or republish its output as a service of your own;
• try to get Alfie to produce harmful, hateful or abusive content;
• enter someone else's Team ID in order to mislead or harass them.

We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these rules.

What you type stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it so that FPL Lad can work, as described in our Privacy Policy.

The FPL Lad name, the Alfie character, the design and the software belong to us. You may use Alfie's answers for your own personal FPL decisions.

FPL Lad depends on other services, including the Fantasy Premier League's public data, Google and our hosting providers. We do not control them, and FPL Lad may be unavailable or inaccurate when they are.

FPL Lad is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that it will be accurate, uninterrupted or error-free.

As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from relying on FPL Lad, including a lower FPL score or rank, lost prizes or mini-league stakes, or lost credits or chat history.

Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility that cannot be limited by law, or takes away rights you have as a consumer in the country where you live.

You can stop using FPL Lad at any time, and ask us to delete your account and data by emailing hello@fpl-lad.com. We may suspend or close access if these terms are broken or if we stop running the service.

We may update these terms as FPL Lad changes. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using FPL Lad after a change, the new terms apply.

These terms are governed by the laws of Israel. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
